This warms up the product and will help with it blending. What I tend to do with all my cream blushes is that I pick up some product with one finger which I then transfer to a finger on my other hand by rubbing two fingers together. With a product like this, the best way to apply it is by using fingers. What does this blush look like on the cheeks? The product is quite sheer though and slightly glowy so that has to be your cup of tea. The liquid effect promised by the brand I experience less so. The formula feels soft and creamy but then when applied does have a bit of a dry down. It even has a bit of a blue tone to it against my fair skin and it reminds me a lot of the effect I get with the Dior Rosy Glow blush. Nearly Rose is stunning bright, vibrant, true pink. Here you can see a close up swatch but I think it represents this blush quite well. Maybe if you have a different skin type than mine, this may be less successful for you. I can apply this early in the morning and it will still be there after a full day of wear. This blush is no different: I can wear this all day for a fresh, naturally flushed look on the cheeks. ![]() Now I do have dry/ dehydrated skin so I never really have any issues with products disappearing on me. For this one, the main reason why people seem to dislike it is the fact that it has no staying power for them. I like that one too but I have yet to review that so stay tuned for more. The liquid blush by the same brand had many more rave reviews I found. I found that not many people liked this product. I already own enough neutral blushes in my powders so for me to go for a cream formula it’s better if I invest in different shades. I opted for Nearly Rose as I have found myself reaching for cream blush more if it is in a vibrant or more daring color. The texture is supposed to be liquid like (hence the name Melting Blush I guess) and the line is available in 5 shades. And I would agree, this is a sheer, lightweigt product that is easy to apply and even if you keep going it will ever look like too much. It almost looks like candy doesn’t it? The brand calls this product mistake proof and so easy to use that you just can’t mess it up. What does this blush have to offer?Īs I said, this is a cream blus that comes in a cute compact, as a mirror and the product is laid in the compact beautifully. If you can, I would recommend finding a store that sells a product, especially if it’s a new to you brand. Most of the line had sold out though, so I waited for these products to come back in stock and placed myself an order a few months later. I was lucky enough to travel to Paris in August of last year where I already spotted the products. It retails for €24 and is exclusively available from Sephora France. Not everyone seemed to love this product, making me even more curious. So when I spotted this cream blush I knew I wanted to try it. In 2021 the main makeup trend I go into was cream blush. Review: Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush in Nearly Rose The first product I am testing out for you is the Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush in Nearly Rose. The products all seem like they will create the most effortless makeup look and while not all the products in the line appealed to me straight away and everything sold out super quickly, I did manage to get my hands on a few of the products. ![]() ![]() It had me excited too as the products looked like it would really go with the way I like doing my makeup: natural, glowy, great for everyday. This celebrity makeup brand came to Sephora in Europe in summer last year and it had everyone very excited. A brand I was very curious after is Rare Beauty.
